Little Animals

This is Madeline’s first attempt at style.  Typically she wears whatever outfit is clean.  If there are 2 or more outfits clean she is in a pretty big quandry and I have to decide for her which cat shirt to wear with what pair of shorts.  But she recently got this hat at Target and she insists on wearing it all the time.  Yesterday she forgot it on the way to soccer practice.  She was really insistent on wanting to go back and get it.  Normally I don’t give in to whining, but for some reason she just seems really connected to this hat.  I think it’s probably the first time she has wanted to wear something strictly for stylistic reasons. 

I guess next she’s going to want to pierce her lip and get a face tattoo.
